Chengdu New LiMei Plastic Surgery Hospital is located in the heart of Chengdu’s Financial City. Facing the strong development potential of the medical aesthetics industry in Chengdu and the intense competition, J&A, from the initial design stage, approached the project from a business perspective, conducting professional market analysis to position the project holistically.
“Medical Aesthetics is Medical” emphasizes the importance of maintaining the professionalism of the medical space. Therefore, in the design, the designers pursued a minimalist and rhythmic approach, using a large number of arched structures to create a sense of rhythm within the space. Arches symbolize strength, yet they are also very graceful. A design that is only soft lacks firmness, while one that is only hard lacks flexibility. The combination of both creates resilience, which is the design philosophy the team aims to express.
The use of arches is the soul of the entire space. The “arch” represents a perfect blend of simple form and substantial volume. This continuous curved form has been endowed with timeless significance by many civilizations.
Upon entering the lobby, the pure white space exudes elegance and cleanliness. The designers used sculptural sequences to create a ceiling form, with interwoven white curves forming an overall atmosphere that resembles a narrative-filled sanctuary. A dignified blue artificial stone reception desk is centrally positioned, breaking the monotony and creating a delightful contrast with the white walls.
Immediately, you are invited on a customized journey to explore beauty.
As you move from the lobby to the consultation area, it feels like stepping deeper into a tunnel. The colors of the furniture and the architectural curves create a dramatic Italian ambiance. The designers used arched forms to minimize the presence of columns, and the sequential arches enhance the ceremonial feel of the space. Soft light strips allow you to enjoy a nostalgic and romantic atmosphere.

WONJIN Aesthetic Clinic is located on the 10th floor of an office building in the central business district of Bangkok, covering an area of 1,185 square meters. The space consists of a gallery hall and three waiting and rest areas designated for reception, skin treatments, and surgeries. Different areas include consultation rooms, skin treatment rooms, preparation areas, recovery rooms, and high-level professional operating rooms, all separated by an access control system.

Nanjing · D.SIGN Clothing Store Lighting Design

STUDIO WEVEN designed a new spatial identity for the brand D.SIGN, located on the second floor of Ziyue Plaza in Nanjing. Unlike traditional atmospheres, STUDIO WEVEN aims to create a simple, relaxed, and natural ambiance in the busy and crowded shopping center.
The space is designed with the concept of a circular garden, arranged around the fitting rooms as if it were an outdoor landscape. The fitting rooms serve as the main elements in the space, defining a free-flowing shopping path. Green plants at the base of the clothing racks allow customers to enjoy the scenery while they browse through the clothes.

Peak Brand Clothing Store Spatial Lighting Design

The interior design contrasts sharply with the building’s long history, featuring a distinctly modern and understated style with a whimsical touch.
Peak’s main retail space is located on the spacious ground floor, with exposed brick as a backdrop, stone brick flooring, and a ceiling covered in black steel plates. The space is complemented by shelves and display racks made from reclaimed wood and steel, along with other elements such as acrylic display cases and colorful carpets.
The space is punctuated with backlit outdoor images and natural objects, which are key stylistic elements of the signal store. It’s important to note that Peak aims to be more than just a store; it seeks to provide a platform for like-minded urban spirits to find their next treasure. To this end, the upper level has been transformed into a gallery space, accessible via a spiral staircase. Additionally, a café and a bicycle workshop in the basement are set to open soon.

JBNY Retail Store Commercial Lighting

This project is located in Xiamen City and is a retail store lighting design case. The design aims to help people in urban life find poetry and surprise in their everyday routines.
The entire space primarily uses linear lights and spotlights. Linear lights can conceal light strips, making the space appear neat and clean. At the same time, under the illumination of spotlights, the space becomes exceptionally bright, and items have focal points, allowing for better visibility of the product details.
Stainless steel shelving, hanging rods, and fitting mirrors blend with cool light sources to create a sophisticated and cool atmosphere. Additionally, ceramic materials are used in the space, with the application of white and light terracotta colors enriching the layers of earth tones in the space.

Haiyi Nail Salon Lighting Design

As a place that shapes beauty, the spatial design and brand strategy of a nail salon continuously evolve with the changing aesthetics of users and the times. Through comprehensive planning and design of the brand image, the salon pays attention to the changes in the era’s environment, maintaining its existing customer base while also making bold changes to appeal to a younger consumer group. Creatively, the concept of “feathers,” symbolizing freedom and beauty, is brought to life as a delicate fusion of imagination and reality. This rebranding encompasses a refreshed visual identity, an engaging spatial experience, and a renewed sense of humanistic aesthetics.
