Suzhou Industrial Park celebrates its 30th anniversary, and as the “heart” of the park, Jinji Lake has always been the core driving force behind its construction and development. Since 1998, AECOM has been providing professional services for Jinji Lake and its surrounding areas for over 20 years. Starting from our initial visionary planning, we have not only nurtured an open urban lakeside garden but also redefined the harmonious bond between water and the city, as well as between water and people, setting a model for waterfront urban development.

Today, standing at this new starting point of three decades and with the new positioning of Suzhou as a new urban center, we leverage profound insights to anticipate the pulse of the times, environmental changes, and evolving needs. We aim to create even more exceptional waterfront spaces, infusing the park with lasting vitality and an innovative spirit. This will support its continued prosperity in the years to come.

Slow living is not necessarily about absolute slowness in speed,

but rather an easy and harmonious state of mind that returns to nature.

It involves slowing down and savoring the beauty that life has to offer.

Micro-vacations, slow living, and gentle moments—

facing the captivating beauty of nature,

Jinji Xinruiyue Fu refines and elevates this concept.

In the modern city,

it initiates a hotel-like, healing-oriented design exploration.

Gaochun Town is set to be connected to Nanjing via light rail and highways, reducing travel time by 50 minutes. This reduction in travel time will promote business development and population growth. The new railway station is located in the planned northern growth area of the town, within a new commercial center. It will be integrated with a new intercity bus terminal and a local bus hub. Anticipating an increase in tourist numbers to the charming lake area and the Slow City region, the transportation hub will also include a tourism exhibition center.
