Tianjin is a city with a rich cultural heritage and unique scenic beauty. The Binxi Road No. 5 project, from its initial planning stages, has encapsulated Tianjin’s mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas, integrating courtyard spaces, nature, and historical culture to create a unique landscape experience for those who live there.

The project’s landscape design is themed around the “Courtyard of Time,” presenting natural scenery within the community. Drawing inspiration from the five elements—fire, water, wood, metal, and earth—the design creates various sunken spaces that blend Eastern Zen aesthetics with modern simplicity.

Suzhou Industrial Park celebrates its 30th anniversary, and as the “heart” of the park, Jinji Lake has always been the core driving force behind its construction and development. Since 1998, AECOM has been providing professional services for Jinji Lake and its surrounding areas for over 20 years. Starting from our initial visionary planning, we have not only nurtured an open urban lakeside garden but also redefined the harmonious bond between water and the city, as well as between water and people, setting a model for waterfront urban development.

Today, standing at this new starting point of three decades and with the new positioning of Suzhou as a new urban center, we leverage profound insights to anticipate the pulse of the times, environmental changes, and evolving needs. We aim to create even more exceptional waterfront spaces, infusing the park with lasting vitality and an innovative spirit. This will support its continued prosperity in the years to come.
