Chengdu Tianfu is positioned as the “Tianfu Smart City and Innovation Hub,” serving as the core economic area of the Tianfu Central Business District. As a collaborative effort between two Fortune Global 500 companies, Marriott International and China Communications Construction Company, the Four Points by Sheraton Chengdu Tianfu continues the brand’s philosophy of simplicity and modernity, seamlessly integrating local charm and Chengdu’s tea culture. The design redefines the concept of an urban “business-leisure” hotel with a fresh perspective, aligning with the brand’s philosophy of “redefining travel.” It reinterprets the Four Points classic elements to create a sophisticated, fashionable, and naturally comfortable space.
The design delves deeply into the local cultural history and geographical advantages, using the local affection for “tea culture” as a commercial entry point. The core of this design is to create a “new social space” for both local guests and business travelers, allowing them to experience the city’s character in a serene environment.
